Vamonos a Ica
Post by: Anna Phillips
Hello all. I am also still having difficulties with my MasterID, so here is my second post under Leah’s name again. I’m not going to write much beyond a short introduction because I think the movie says most of it.
A few of us were very interested in seeing the Nasca lines, but unfortunately they are too far to make a day trip out and turning that sighting into a two-day trip was a little out of our price range (as students we’re either extremely limited on cash flow or are mature enough to have regret about freely spending our parents’ money). So after a few calls and Maria Ines working some magic we had a great option to take a bus south and see Paracas, Ica and Pisco in a day. So, here’s the video. Hope you enjoy it!

Hahaha… intense video Anna. This day was worth the hundred dollars and the 30 bug bites that for sure. This video is awesome and so is that picture of Steve lost in the desert haha. I had a great day and I’m glad that I sucked it up and spent the money haha. I got great pictures and I’m glad that you used some of them : ) haha P.S. it’s so funny to hear us screaming.
Anna, your video is excellent. You did such a great job depicting your trip to Ica. Even thougth I didnt go on the trip with you all, watching this video allowed me to see what you all got to experience. It looks like you guys had a really fun trip and got to to do a lot of cool things.
UGH!!! I can’t believe I missed out on that… I can’t finish watching the entire video yet… I need still more distance from that event… I wanted to sandboard so baaaad!!!!! darn flu… or whatever afflicted me there… But what I’m capable of watching is fantastic, Anna! I’ve seen parts of the video during the developmental stage, and it turned out amazingly. I love the soundtrack you used… what’s the name of the first song?! I guess the one positive thing I can say about missing out on this trip… no bug bites for me… plus, I got my sand-in-my-pants-fix a few days later at the beach… ADELANTE PERUUU!!!
